gobo.

My friend Susan, from Chicago, visited me in New York a couple of weeks ago. We met for dinner at gobo in the West Village and sampled all kinds of vegan goodness.
We started with Scallion Pancakes with Mango Salsa, which we adored.
Then, it was onto the Crispy Spinach and Soy Cheese Wontons. Another serious score. So crispy and crunchy.
We also shared the White Bean and Cremini Mushroom Casserole. I can't say exactly what it was topped with, but it was super creamy, green (I'm thinking spinach) and delicious.
The Green Tea Noodles with Bolognese followed and it was quite spectacular.
We left stuffed, but still had it in us to walk to Lula's Sweet Apothecary for vegan ice cream :)

We had such a great experience there! I'd love to try their Upper East side location as well.

You know, I've only eaten at Angelica Kitchen once. I'll have to go back soon!
