Le Pain Quotidien is a great spot for vegans. They offer vegan pastries, soups, sandwiches and salads, which vary daily.
My husband and I stopped in for lunch on our last visit. We shared the Mediterranean Platter with hummus, babaganoush and tabouleh, served with their freshly baked bread.
Heath had the soup of the day, always vegan, which happened to be Vegetable that day.
And I ordered the Organic Black Bean Hummus Tartine with avocado, radishes, cucumbers, red peppers, green onions and spicy tahini. I love this sandwich!
The atmosphere is always very open and bright, with large communal tables being the focus. Even though it's a chain, it feels very local, warm and inviting.
Later this week, I'll highlight their vegan breakfast options!
